We fight for things that have gone for weeks, months, years, decades or even lifetimes. We forget that there are things past, because as the term suggests, "is past." We fight for things to come for forgetting that the future is simply the next gift. We fight because we forget the most obvious in human relationships: the right to expression free of the feelings and actions consistent with that right.
